I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet
To go over everything ...okay maybe not
Hello anyways.
Been silent running for a bit, had a deadline to meet finishing the kitchen that was a building site and I kid you not that every hour of the day and working late nights were needed to be ready for hosting a conference with OH's American colleagues. It sounds dramatic but it really was an impossible mess that had to be dealt with for visitors
The actual meeting boss and co went really well in the end but I needed three days to recover,I was completely exhausted while poor OH is nursing an over-did-it cold.
Forgive me for not reading back,
I've tried to catch up but a week's worth is just too much. I do hope everyone is well and avoided storms, flooding etc.
So now my house is in order, what'ya all been up to?
Been busy as normal, today I ran in a race around our town in honour of Father Christmas, just the four times, I was a bit worn out at the end but the batteries on my Santa hat kept going! Sadly our team missed a place on the podium by just 1 point, we were 4th. We are starting training straight away for next year, well after all the mince pies and chocolates have been eaten.
Have had a relaxing evening watching SCD now though. Sounds like you need more than just an evening to get over all your efforts.

Jo and Winter, me too... I feel guilty because I can't get on the family laptop very often so I lose track of who's doing what, and really can't spare the time to read back more than a few pages at a time.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Hi DD and Jo. Slowly beginning to wake up and, like you Jo, can't remember from one page to another what interesting things have been said. Always a lovely pleasure in the morning to catch up on chat that I missed while I've been sleeping the night away.
it's a bit chill on the arms this morning - laying in bed, but I think we are expecting high 20s again today, so I'd better get out there before too long and get some more weeding done,
Hi Jo, nice to see you too. I am just summoning up the energy to go to bed, have two parties to go to tomorrow, one as a 'helper' , local kiddies charity thing and the other one for fun, although there will be quite a few people there I don't know so am a bit twitchy about it. Beats staying in and painting though.

Good morning, nice bright start here, might just find a bit of time to tidy up the garden this morning, looking a bit sad after a couple of hard frosts.
Pat, you seem to have hiccups.

Morning Wintersong. I'm glad your renovation went well. Hope you can find something else to keep you occupied.
