    Morning all.

What is worse than a pea souper, well whatever it is, it is like that here.

Well at least I can't see what the neighbours are up to.

    Have a good day.

    Morning all.

I hope Yvie's OH's op goes well and Pat's results are good. Good luck with the move, Wonky.

We were going to shift some more logs today but the man who does the strimmering around the paddocks has borrowed the garden tractor and trailer. Perhaps we'll do it in his lunch break. The French always have a 2 hour lunch break.

LilyP you're right about turning blue hereimage.  It was frosty at the bottom of the hill but I'm now home warming my hands on a mug off coffeeimage.

Good luck with the move Wonky.  Hope you're soon settled and can put your feet up while you enjoy the cake.  It's probably a good thing Clari's 60 children won't be there to share itimage

The theatre visit sounds good chicky.  What are you going to see?

I spent yesterday catching up on news, sorting out phones, new boots, trousers, handbag, purse, cooking eating drinking.

    Sunny here. Gladioli need staking.

Good luck with the move, Wonky.

  • Right - heading off now - first to Waitrose for rubber gloves, coffee, milk and biccies - then to Wonky's place - see you later folks - have a good day! image

Best wishes for the move, Wonky!  You'll sleep well tonight...  hope you get the biggest piece of cake, you deserve it  image  - though I suppose you might have to share with your volunteer removal team...

Pat, beautiful photo!  Hope you manage to keep your mind off next Wednesday and soon feel properly better.

Yvie, hope all is going well with OH today.

I'm glad to say my Mum is improving, now just rather stiff.  She's still extremely confused, but I think each physical trauma increases her dementia a little, so I don't expect improvement there.  She still recognises me though image

Mist is lifting and it's 11C.  I think a spot of gardening will be in order this afternoon!

Hi Lirio. Thanks for good wishes. I feel so sorry to hear about people with dementia. It must be so confusing for them and of course terrible for the family.  You deserve a medal, all of you who are going through it.  I'm feeling a bit better at the moment, so will shut up about it for a few days until I find out what the dr has to say. image

DD, sending hugs. Watch Charlie, he will love you being there. Don't be lonely today.

Best wishes to everyone, hope all poorly peeps are on the mend.

Sorry mind has gone blank and I can't go back. Sorry if I've missed anyone xx

Have a good day everyone, I'm off to cut the grass.

    Pea soupers, these days, image

i can remember back in the '50's (just!) walking home from school and not being able to find my house, you had to count the roads as you crossed them and then count the gates.

its another glorious day here, definitely summer has arrived.

    have a good day everyone.
