Fairy, that's some picture, calendar quality!

GWRS. All styles of holidays available and like most natives of their own country we just potter around however whilst on the isle of Islay a couple of years ago we met up with a group of French tourists who were doing a whisky trail and having a ball!!!

Thanks folks. I think we were intending to do the most westerly of the Lochnagar hills that day but I hadn't been very well, so we just walked up the glen from Auchallater to the loch. We went back later in the year to to do it, and it was so hot I wore shorts and burnt my knees  imageimage

GWRS - there's a distillery at the start of the walk up Glen Fyne - it's a beautiful place. The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar is just along the road too - so you'd have everything you need on a good day image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Lovely photo.

Have made over 60 mince pies for Sunday's Carol Service. Made a batch of cheese straws for OH when he gets back tonight from singing with his choir in another Carol Service.

I bought OH's pressie in England when we were last there but couldn't take it back on the plane, case too full. Hope we can bring it back next week. He chose it, a thing called a Bose that he can play music from his iPad.

I missed saying hello this morning - feeling a bit sluggish after a coffee in bed so nodded off again and then it was a bit late for you over there. Weather today is warm but with a cool breeze so very nice.  I might even get some gardening done before it gets too hot.

I accidently used the worries thread for my comments about Hubby's cheesecake, so I'll put the photo on here when it's finished (tomorrow before he puts the berries on top). image

Have a good cruise, GWRS. It sounds like a good one.

i managed to do some weed clearing today, so feel a bit self righteous at the moment. I hope we have another good weather day tomorrow, might get some more done.

loved the snow photos earlier.  Everything looks so crystal clear and clean.

  • Good morning all image G'day Pat image

Congratulations on the weed clearing Pat image  the problem with this mild weather is that the weed seeds are germinating and the weeds are growing, but the ground's really too wet and soft to do any real gardening ... well that's my excuse anyway - think I'm turning into a fair weather gardener image
