Steve and Hosta, I just can't understand how families can behave in that way. Surely, family love should mean we accept the life choices of other family members, and work hard to be welcoming to the life partners of their choice. Anything else is arrogant and indefensible. Busy Lizzie. I'm a practising Christian too. I haven't joined in the pro/anti religion debate because a) I'm a bit of a coward and b) it seems unnecessarily divisive for this forum. Maybe it's enough to say that I detest intolerance, and believe that it's intolerance, not faith, which is the root cause of wars etc.
