    Morning all.

Sorry to hear about your hubby Pat. It's a hellish thing to deal with.  Keep safe yourself, as Dove says. Hopefully it'll pass reasonably quickly- oops, not the best phrase to use! image

RB - sending love. Hope you're feeling better soon too.

Think we're getting the rain, thunder etc later, or tomorrow, but hey - that's Scotland  image

I have a cake to make today . Little fairy is 18 tomorrow. Where did the time go image

Thanks everyone. Yes, Dove, I rang the bakery where he got the pie and suggested they might want to throw their steak and kidney pies out.  She responded that no one had complained.  (As if my call was not a complaint), der!    The trouble is that the little village is so remote, in the middle of nowhere, and I guess she doesn't have much of a turnover.  I can only do what I did.image

If you google Cobargo, NSW, you'll see how it's tiny.

As for the ecoli, I've been using the non- en suite toilet.

on the plus side, he said he has stopped vomiting now, so hopefully things will sort themselves out,   I did take the opportunity while in town to buy an extra supply of toilet rolls!  image

What good idea!   That'll teach him won't it?  I'll probably have to put the uneaten sandwiches in there too.image

Good morning all image 20C here but dull and looking like rain.

Runny hugs I hope you aren't in too much pain, rest up x

Pat I hope your OH gets well soon.

Lily sorry to hear your friend is still in pain image

Fairy make that a big cake so we can share in little Fairy's 18th birthday.

I'm not sure what the cunning plan is for today, the weather will be the deciding factor.

I planned on a bacon sandwich for breakfast but after reading about dogs eating manure I think I'll wait a bit. image

I have no cunning plan at all KEF as I'm still officially on holiday  image

'Chocolate cake with cream' are my very precise instructions re the cake. image I will do my best image

Pat -  putting loo roll in the freezer was the standard recommended remedy up here when you'd had a very hot curry the night before. Not sure if it ever really happened though!  image

Never heard that before. Learn something new all the time. Sounds like a clever idea, though. When he wakes up again, I'll see if he is  interested.  thanks Fg.image

Car is packed and we're on our way to Cornwall. Did my repotting yesterday and the last deadheading this morning. Will the garden manage to survive the current slug and snail attack without me? I think the frogs would be the size of the dog if they managed to eat them all.
