Very quiet day here. I have got to stop feeling guilty when I dont do anything, surely thats the point of retirement.
Have managed to put some canes with labels on around the borders. They are my way of planning what is going where, although I usually change my mind a few times.
Now need to pack for trip north.

Done the shopping today for us & M. Honestly it was a mare! Seemed most people had gone to SM for a chat..standing in aisles two trolley spread showing off their new tops, so coats off and ooh & aahs..and that was only the fruit & veg bit
No price on something that I took to customer service 9 days ago and asked for a price to be displayed. Still on the shelf where jars of sauce for a quid are, non of them there, these in their place, and I know it's 75p more! If it's the same next week the Manager had better appear.
Last week a bottle of wine that was on offer for 5 quid previous week, (soz don't have a pound sign on here) was still in the same bargain place. So I assumed fiver, but noticed in another place 8.99. !!! So put mine back & tore a piece off my list and stuck my own sign on it. Today it's marked at 8.99. !!! The SM starts with an M and they are moaning about reduced profits.

Only done a bit of pot tidying/ feeding as had a visit at M's. Then it rained, hopefully lots can be done at the weekend.

Stacey it's been 12C in S.Yorks and started raining about hour ago. Didn't drop below 6C last night. If you've used the M1 up north you were 10 mins away from me.
Hi everyone, had a good day with my friend, talking about anything and everything. She's not too bad considering what she has been through these last few months, and what she will have to go through in the months ahead. We have known each other since we were 5 and have been through nearly everything together. Her husband died in November from cancer and a few weeks ago she found she has it too. Life seems pretty unfair at the moment. Hopefully they have caught hers in time and there will be a happier outcome.
