Ok. So I have a basil plant in the kitchen which I've grown from seed, it's doing very nicely and used regularly but seems to be having aphid issues, I can't spray it with anything.....so, I'm rinsing the leaves very well when I use them and assuming that if I miss the odd greenfly or whitefly it will just enhance the flavour if the bolognese and not actually do us any harm image I haven't of course informed the 3 boys, I just keep giving the plant a rinse under the tap and telling them I'm watering it image

I spray soap on other plants Edd, I just don't really want to spray soap on my basil, I have sprayed the base and soil with soap though but not the leaves.  I think I'd rather have the odd greenfly than soap on my salad image
