Glad your mum is ok (ish) punk, hope everything goes well at Glastonbury and you get just a bit of rain to dampen the dust but nothing more. I'm sure you'll have a fab time anyway
My MIL has just been with our anniversary present for tomorrow, 18 years is porcelain so she bought us Hector.......and what I think is a Calla Lily?
Well chuffed
Bekkie, my eyes are a lot better thank you, still prickly but not streaming and I'm taking the antihistamines every morning now.
Hi all, been a hectic day and not caught up. Done day 1 at new job, brill, then sons sports day, then mum here, tea for everyone, OHs home later so tea in two instalments, new hoover to choose (VAX 'air' atm), then mum to take home, bedtime and winetime. Prob see you lot in the morning. x
Ok. So I have a basil plant in the kitchen which I've grown from seed, it's doing very nicely and used regularly but seems to be having aphid issues, I can't spray it with anything.....so, I'm rinsing the leaves very well when I use them and assuming that if I miss the odd greenfly or whitefly it will just enhance the flavour if the bolognese and not actually do us any harm I haven't of course informed the 3 boys, I just keep giving the plant a rinse under the tap and telling them I'm watering it
I spray soap on other plants Edd, I just don't really want to spray soap on my basil, I have sprayed the base and soil with soap though but not the leaves. I think I'd rather have the odd greenfly than soap on my salad
