Evening all, Some of you have such huge gardens I really dont know how you manage. I had a third of an acre at one house and I found I never had time to sit and enjoy the garden as something always needed doing. I was a little younger then and I know I would find it really daunting now.
Love the look of those stumps Woody, I have quite a few tree stumps in my garden due to really large trees being cut down prior to my buying the house. Luckily the previous owner kept some of the larger pieces to include in the garden.
Sorry you're feeling a bit low Panda, have days like that myself occasionally, but hopefully your friends cheered you up. So many of us have a lot on our plates, I read that we are the first generation to have responsibilities for parents, children and grandchildren all at the same time. No wonder we are shattered.
Have ordered my Alliums from the mag, I had already ordered a load earlier in the year but it was too good an opportunity to miss, I'm sure I'll find room for them somewhere.
I'm off for a look round now, I might pop back later and see what you have all been up to. Thats if I dont fall asleep over this rather large glass of white wine.
Had a lovely evening, and what made it more special is that OH was out when I got home Sometimes I like to be on my own in the house Doesn't happen very often.
BLizzie, sorry that you have more sad news
Woody, lovely stumps. That will look amazing when finished
Hello all, a quick check in so you don't think I've gone AWOL
Lizzie, so sorry about more sad news for you, sending hugs.
Panda, sorry you are feeling a bit tired and not yourself, that was how I was for quite some time, good multi vitamins and Echinacea did the trick, hugs for you too.
Punk, thinking of you and hoping all is as well as can be with your mum.
Right, that's all, sorry it's a bit late so I've missed lots of people, been cleaning as away for 3 days and leaving at 7am tomorrow, then had business banking to set up......it's all go
Anyway, away with OH for a few days so may not be on until Friday.....by which time we will know the fate of out Scottish friends
Take care everyone, rest when you need to and can and stay safe and happy
