We go past Marham on the way to MIL's in south Lincs - we're just off the A11 on the south-west fringe of Norwich near the river and marshes.

lily - I think we appreciate those sorts of days because so often the hills are shrouded in mist and rain - and it's not  just at 3 or 4,000 feet either!  image

It's why people come to Scotland -  unfortunately 'the midge' and the rain can be a bit off putting! image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I totally agree Fairy but it makes you appreciate being able to slide into a steaming hot bath and disappear under the bubbles ahhhhhhh bliss. Unless your camping of course but have to say my days for tents are behind me now. Forgot to ask  did you do all three summits?

No camping for me Bushman. I like my en suite facilities!  The two and a half hour journey home didn't help ...good job I had clothes to change into!  image
