Dove -DON'T PEDAL BACKWARDS !!!!! You'll end up on the floor !

At a wild guess your right handlebar will have about 7 gears that you can move up and down gently, with only a slight difference between them, whereas the left handlebar will have 3 settings which make the 7 all high, all medium or all low.  You will manage perfectly with the lefthand set on medium all the time until you get more adventurousimage.  To change gear you have to keep pedallingimageimageimage

    He's a looker chickyimage.  That's some hillimage.

It's been a lovely day here so I've managed to do plenty of weeding.  Just had a long soak in the bath to try and alleviate the aching muscles I'm expecting tomorrow.

Chicky, I don't want to sound dumb, but does the troll have more meaning than riding a bike up that hill image soz.

    Washing done.

weeding done.......where do they keep coming from??!!!

Then sat in the sun reading.

Hope your first day went well Wonky.

Runny, hope your son enjoyed his first day too.

Thanks for the suggestions about 1471 for the doctors but the phone would have shown the number if it was possible to just call back. It's the same for a lot of organisations - their number isn't readily available to the call recipient.

OH couldn't make out the names either. I just hate to think of somebody waiting anxiously for medical test results and the doctor trying to get in touch with him urgently. It was the doctor himself calling and he stressed the urgency at least 3 times in the call image

On a brighter note - glad to hear WW's day went well & Clari's pup is OK.

Very best wishes and good luck to Panda for tomorrow.

    Evening all,

Learned to ride a bike when I was 50, never been confident though and after falling into a very, very deep ditch decided enough was enough and gave it to my daughter.  Four wheels for me from now on.

Glad Wonky had a good day Dove, hope her arm feels better.

Been gardening today and finally got round to tidying up the front garden after the hols.

Hopefully Topbird, the Doctor will try again and get the right number next time. Or the person concerned will phone his surgery/hospital.

No other meaning Lily - the road is called the Trollstigen, or the Troll's Way - so he thought it a fitting trophyimage
