Morning all. Still raining. Lawns are greening up but a lot is weeds. May need to re-sow some in the autumn. No coffee for me, thanks Dove, or I'll want to go to the loo in church image

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all - hope today goes better for Winter, and Pdoc has a great time on his garden visiting travels.  Just about to take littlest chicklet to work, then we are off to Wisley for real this timeimage.  Will take photosimage

Blue sky here, garden is getting quite dry again - might need to get the hose out tonight.  Next weeks forecast keeps changing from cloud to rain, back to cloud again, so not sure I can trust it to do the watering for meimage

Harrumph!  A lot of clattering of wings outside - I went out in my jimjams and bare feet and disturbed two woodpigeons near the broccoli in the veg patch - they looked very guilty.image  I think I need to get some netting image

Stuff is drying out fast. The downpour last week has gone. I have plants drooping. I left the soaker hose on the new raspberries last night. It will go on the beans and sweet peas tonight. My Magnolia soulangeana is covered in powdery mildew. Not a good look next to the glossy leaves of M. Grandiflora Exmouth.

Oh dear Fidget image  Very dry here too - I've been trying not to water the border in the front garden, but some things are looking a bit sad ... just checked with the met office - we could get some thundery showers tomorrow evening - perhaps I'll wait and see.

Has anyone here seen Lyn?  She went out to prune her Paul's Himalayan Musk yesterday and hasn't reappeared - do you think she's entangled??? image

Morning all. Awake early but have taken my time as befits a wumman of advancing years image

Very damp here. I got all my grass done on Friday Lesley. Forecast wasn't great for today and I wasn't going to be around yesterday. It's now had another good watering, so we have the opposite problem that fidget has. Tomatoes are a waste of time this year - I may cut my losses image

Long day yesterday - didn't get back till very late -everything still in car. image Got my lunch en route but too late for anything other than a cuppa when I got home.  Weary today, but I'm at number 99 now  image

Hope everyone has had/is having lovely garden visits. Slightly envious of Dixter visitors.

Well done to England - my Dad would have been thrille. Did you find any Aussies doc? image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good morning, a slow start here. Didn't get home until 2 from a quiet dinner with friends in the village!

need to weed and clear more box hedge today before it gets cut next week.

really envious of garden trips, please take photos And please will someone send us some sun? Have resorted to the banana skin trick to see if the tomatoes will ripen image
