Was a beautiful day here today - feeling pretty pleased that I cleared most of the visible weeds, plus a load of deadheading and a bit of pruning. Feeling a bit achey now ....out of practice with this gardening lark.
Evening all, busy week-end but in a nice way, lot of cleaning washing and i*****g but also plenty of fun things too and a little bit (not enough) time spent in the garden.
Managed to make some lovely peach jam and also a peach & raspberry traybake with garden fruit and also squeeezed in a visit to a local produce market and lunch in a lovely restaurant in local village (Segur-le Chateau). Too late to enjoy the 'black bottom pig' feast but loved watching all 500 people dining alfresco and dancing, having a lovely time - next year.
Fidget you sound like you have had some fun too,
Hope to catch up with you all in the morning, good night all and happy hols to Liri & anyone else off on their travels.

Morning all, very hot weather has returned here, high 30's today, shouldn't complain but a bit too hot for the garden really.
Mass exodus of guests this morning and dinner for new arrivals tonight, but I hope to get into the veggie patch and tidy it up a bit, later afternoon though when the sun has moved off it.
Good day to all and I hope Fidget feels ok.

Up and in the garden at 6 am this morning. Just intending to have my coffee sitting out there as it was already a bright blue sky and a beautiful morning. But I took my "weapon of choice" - the secateurs and did some dead heading as I strolled around drinking coffee.
