DD: my father would always munch anything that left unattended in the house. Do you have a dog? Next time to make some biscuits keep them nice simple shapes and if you catch him snacking while they cool down ask him why he is eating the dogs medicated biscuits.

Or just bake him biscuits and lace them with laxatives. I can assure you that even though I can confirm the wifi reaches the bathroom you do get bored of sitting in there after a while.

Hello folks - back from visiting Ma - she's well and happy, chatting about all the friends she has (the staff) and her relatives who live next door who want another baby imageimageimage

The autumn colours seem particularly vivid this year, the field maples in the hedgerows in particular - absolutely wonderfulimage

Liri: its certainly a struggle trying to work out what will grow or not here (not least because I grew up 100 miles further south and the difference in climate is noticeable: especially when my mother is telling me she's putting her tomatoes out and its too cold to even germinate seeds up here).

Oh Dove I am glad she's having a good day today. She sounds quite happy!

Clari - she's got a crush on one of the male carers - she goes all pink when he talks to her and she keeps trying to hold his hand and make him sit next to her and says 'he's my best friend' then giggles.  ................. she used to be so prim and proper image  but at least she's happy.  image

    bless 'er indeed Dove.

    Devon.
  • Ooh Clari, some tempting ideas there! image Call me naive but I would have thought after all he went through last week that he would have been chomping at the bit to change all the bad habits that put him there in the first place not chomping all the blooming biccies. image

There is a huge Centre of Obesity in our nearest town (residential) - if he doesn't pull his socks up I am going to get him locked up in there. image

I*****g done, house clean, bored now. Still too wet to even pick up walnuts. Suppose I could go out for a run, especially as I am entered for a 10k race in about 2 weeks - eek, that came around quickly. image
