Thanks for the dental info and concerns, we will enquire about what's best to do under the circumstances
Been in the garden all day, started with Penstemon cuttings and then decided to crack on with getting some rescued or purchased plants in the ground. Clematis Wesselton at the arch, then the red banana and the physocarpus Diable D'or, all in meaty holes.
Had to re-arrange some Alchemilla mollis and Geranium johnson's blue which was a nuisance really and finished with the front of a sunny border, where I planted two more Iris Carnival Time along with three large Sedum telphinium Purple Emperor
Getting back into the swing of gardening after two weeks away.
In the last three days I've picked about 10lb of blackcurrants from three different gardens and many are now in the jam pan. I do like blackcurrant jam
Also mown a lot of grass paths and harvested a few courgettes, beetroot etc. But what do I do with the over-ripe, too large and presumably tough broad beans (AC) which I should have picked a few weeks ago?
One of the gardens, PD, has moles and a neighbour comes in with traps. Apparently he got one last night, so it works.
My farmer neighbour when we lived in Northumberland reckoned that traps only worked if they didn't smell of human. He used to rub his gloves in soil before handling the trap.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Evening all Had a friend's daughter round for a visit this afternoon and was pleased to see the sun popping out - had been miserable all morning! We dug up my last problem bed and have planted some of my plants from Fidget and Nut Also planted a couple of plants from my nearly dead section They will live a long and happy life now It looks lovely now And still room for more......

Is it because I lied when I was 17?

Resting now before driving lessons
Lovely day here.
Managed to get one of the lawns mowed and have done some gentle weeding.
New mole hills still appearing, I may have to get a Terminator in.

Steve, skin the broad beans and add to stews.
Traps definitely work Puncdoc, OH uses them from time to time always gets them.

Glad I don't have an issue with moles
Evening all.
5th time this week, ....
" I'm calling on behalf of UK research"
I've tried hanging up, shouting "F off" but tonight I thought I'd politely answer them
What newspaper do you read? I can't read , I'm illiterate.
What's the make and model of your car. I can't drive.
Have you ever had an endowment mortgage? I don't know what that is.
Are you responsible for paying your electricity and gas bills? No, my carer is.
Fingers crossed.
I've found traps work best. But in the borders the tunnels are too deep for the traps.
Have deadheaded and weeded, 2 barrow loads full. Nice day, sunny, low 20s, did 3 loads of sheet and towel washing.
