No Lesley - but I did lots of other things that really needed doing more urgently - like renewing the handle on the back gate which was hopeless, and I can always do the bulbs inside if it's wet!

Washing out and saw a wren on the fence which was lovely  image

    Morning all.

There is a yellow thing in the sky, must go and investigate.

Plan for the day is to start digging up the Cannas, Dahlias will be left a bit longer. Seems a shame as the Cannas are still flowering, but we have already had some frosts.

Hope you can solve your problem LP.

    Congratulations Pat.

Morning all and thanks for good wishes. The absolute best part of the day was that we feasted on last night's left over curry for dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed it (as well as not having to do anything except pop it in the microwave). Otherwise. Just mooched around the property and enjoyed ourselves.image

since it's now 7.30pm, and we're fed and showered, the next step is flopping in front of the TV until bed time.  Catch you all tomorrow.

    Morning all.

Congrats Pat, if you're not in bed already.

    Well done WW.

Just been out to top up the fat balls and it seems very pleasant out. Not a breath of wind ( unbelievable ) and just the merest hint of haze in the sky.

    Fingers crossed.

Lots to do to-day before Hubby comes home tomorrow.

That looks gorgeous Dove, I could go some of that, especially the coffe.

I am trying to cut my coffee intake down a bit, just have two cups a day now.

I hope DD and RB's OH's are ok today, and DD can bring  hers home.

So pleased about the van passing Hosta, does that mean.......?

I have to go and earn some pennies today, should be a small job, when the customer says ...it's only little, it usually turns out to be a whopper. (Headstones I am talking about.)

Sorry to hear about about Lily's water rate problem, in those cases I just go and plonk myself in their office and refuse to move until someone sees me. Always better face to face. She's right, emails do not get read or answered properly, a good old face it face is far the best.

I remember once I have a council problem, I took my two year son and his toys, they soon saw to me!

    off now, back later. x
