Morning all, been dead heading here in the rain , the garden looks different in the rain and it's a good time to realise some planting gaps

Rb, you've just reminded me that I put OH's shoe in the freezer yesterday (in a sealed bag) as he got chewing gum stuck to the sole.  Why can't people dispose of it properly instead of just spitting it outimage.

Thanks Wonky - I've been waking at night thinking of grand plans but for the minute I've stuck the plants I've grown from seed in itimage.

Hope you can get your knee sorted once and for all Hosta.  I can imagine it's very painfulimage.

Afternoon all. Sorry I didn't reply to anyone yesterday: Gardeners World kept freezing on me. As if I didn't have enough to deal with!

Well his Lordship is still alive, is acting like everything is hunky dory, didn't even notice that I wasn't wearing my ring (put it on when family arrived: his parents and grandparents and someone was bound to notice and my good lord do they do melodrama). Unfortunately there wasn't an option to not be here when they came round; my life really would not be worth living if I was seen to be avoiding them. You think Verdun can do drama queen? You've seen nothing til you see the shrieking of "I may as well kill myself").

Never mind a nice quite day today doing paperwork and other delights for work. I get more done here in my nice comfortable house than I ever do trying to fight for desk space and peace and quiet in the museum.

At least it didn't rain for the christening of the new garden furniture!
