Lesley, you're right that it's good to share the burden of finding somewhere for Mum - I'll feel guilty though if she ends up near my sister, because I reckon she's "done her bit" already, when she cared for Mum earlier on, making sure she was safe, well fed etc in her sheltered flat. Now THAT was hard work, and what I've been able to do for Mum since she's been living near me is nothing in comparison! But I guess we'll have to do what's best for Mum in the long run, and I may just have to live with my guilt...
Hi Runny & Hosta! Thanks for good wishes.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Glad the result went in Scotland's favour for a change. In a bit of a rush myself as it's the bowling club's presentation dinner and we have to be there by 6. Not used to going out two nights in a row and I bet it won't be as much fun as last night at KEF's. Still it's one of those occasions that you don't look forward to going to but good fun in the end.
Hope everyone has a good evening. Good luck with the walk tomorrow fairy (in case I'm having a lie-in)
Been busy outside getting rid of lots of branches, digging out the dog rose, moving some plants and generally having a rummage. Salmon and carrots for tea now - yum.
That looks very cosy Frit
Glad the thumb is a bit better RB. Very unpleasant
Hope your foot is better Lesley - I meant to ask you earlier. Just as well you're not coming with me tomorrow
Weather to be cloudy and maybe a shower or three, but it'll be fine. Should be good enough for some decent pix. Thanks for all the good wishes and sponsoring.
You're a damn fine bunch - but then, I knew that already
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hello everyone.
First time I have lit the fire, though it is not really too cold here it is the dampness that starts creeping in.
