It's been raining overnight and has settled into a fine drizzle. Hope it clears for your walk Fairy.
The station garden is looking great Gg
Good to 'see' you OL. Your dahlias and begonias will flower in their own time. Ours aren't out yet but that's no surprise. Hope you manage to get a bit more time in the garden soon.
Can't wait for your photos Pdoc and you haven't even gone get. Wrap up warm
Good morning all Walll to wall blue skies here, bright sunshine and nearly 18C so far .... just had to rescue a solitary bee from the window and take it back out into the garden.
Hello OL
Bon voyage Pdoc - if they get poorly it'll be their own fault, they should have worn their vests!!! That's what Ma would say Looking forward to the photos
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Weather is the same as Dove's, we aren't that far from her. Going to different B & B today in Dedham Vale. Will see Beth Chatto's garden while we are there.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all. Marathon in tunnels lead to a very late ( 6pm ) siesta. Woke up at 9.25 went and watered tunnels, ( finished in dark at 10.35) then went back to bed.
Best wishes to you punkdoc and have a FAB trip.
Dove, you've got me bursting with nosiness as to WW's news.
Pdoc, have an amazing time! I'm sure it will be enthralling! My friend has been working in the Antarctic as an electrician for a wildlife observation camp since last November and is having the time of his life, although conversation is limited!
Well here goes the news....
Went to the London road in bloom competition party, eighty neighbours I'd never met before and I've been here fifteen years!
Helped our team sweep a victory in the quiz and pocketed a prize of presentation biscuits!
Then came the garden prize announcement, ......best front garden, went to Stephen and Leslie, not surprised either, beautiful, back garden to someone I didn't know.....planter to an old lasdy that is wheelchair bound but makes a reala effort with pots and planters.......then....
.......a new category...... New to gardening, most improved garden......made just for me ten quid book voucher! Not to be sniffed at! Silly I know just nice to have your efforts noticed and appreciated!
