Been out at a friend's. She's decided to become an agent for a company selling Aloe Vera products. Ordered something for my elderly horse who has rubbed himself sore because of flies.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Afternoon Am trying my new glasses , boy I must have been straining my eyes with the old pair, these are SIGNIFICANTLY different might have to ditch them for a day though as have a headache and don't need to make it any worse
No sign of the rain we were promised according to my forecast on Bernard Guess I'll be out with the hose later
Things are sounding good Wonky Nice of them to ring and tell you.... noone has bothered to do that for me
Bet you were in the garden bit of the range too Verdun! even though they put it all the way at the back, I still end up in that bit!
Don't worry FG, all from the reduced section! And pretty healthy looking too!
New glasses take a while to adjust to Panda, have a lie down and rest ya peepers!
Pipin does sound like she's beginning to enjoy life! And who wouldn't!!!
Now sitting looking out the kitchen window wondering where to plant everything! Evening session when its cooler though I think, dozy enough already today!
Welcome back KEF. Hope you had a wonderful time with your friends. Shame about the washing though.
I attempted to do a bit in the garden this afternoon but got chased in sharpish by the b....y midges. I'm obviously more of a wimp than you Liri. Well done for only buying two plants
Your plants sound good Wonky. They were quite a bargain.
HoPoe your eyes soon adjust to the new specs Panda. I'm getting new ones next week.
Matty I have a feeling that Pippin is going to love living with you.
Lesley, I only survived the midges because I was covered in DEET. Planted about 2 dozen wild flowers before the heavens opened (just after I'd watered them in, obviously!). Now feeling more human after a shower and some slow-roast pork.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Midges don't really bother me. Lots of them in the glen I was in last weekend. Don't know whether I'm lucky or just don't smell very nice
Rain went off so got some planting done and removed some slugs from the clematis and surrounding areas. Dinner's been consumed and may go and cut the grass if it's dry enough.
I take it you meant new glasses Lesley - not new eyes.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Too hot to garden today. Have done ironing in the sitting room as it's cool there, thick stone walls, high ceiling, was a barn.
Lizzie you'll be needing the aloe Vera as well if it stays that hot. Hope it works for your horse.

Good to see you KEF. Are you very brown?
