Was oven delivery day yest . . . . . have a lovely new oven . . . . on my kitchen floor We paid to have it fitted but the chap said that we needed a housing unit so he couldn't fit it. Cue refund and a trip to B&Q for said unit. Decided to take no action until today. . . . and then read the instructions that came with the oven to discover that he could and should have fitted it yest as it can be done Two phone calls later, one to the manufacturer and one to the company I bought from, and they are coming next Wed to fit it for free and take away the old one for free Am no longer a grumpy Panda
I often think, when dealing with people, that if I did my job to the standard to which they do theirs, I'd spend my life cleaning excrement from the ventilation system!
They're sometimes a flippin' nuisance aren't they Panda - but it looks as all's well that ends well ........... hopefully! We'll keep fingers crossed for Wednesday!

Pat E. Don't worry about the FODMAP diet it isn't really as scary as you think! Trust me I've been living it for a while now and aside from complications causing complications I'm so much better off. One disadvantage is that because my body is so used to being unable to absorb nutrients now that its healing its really very efficient at storing excess "goodness". Or at least that's how the doctor explains why I can't loose weight!
Til then drink plenty of water: if nothing else you'll be so distracted having to go to the loo all the time to pee you'll not be able to worry about anything else.
Panda: I'm glad you put your paw down. People are ass-hats sometimes!
I've just spoken to Wonky - bless her she sounds tired - she's sitting down for a rest before carrying on with the decorating - she says Thanks for everyone's good wishes

Right , just so nobody thinks I'm trying to lure Verdun's dog, My Spike will , hereafter, be called Spikey.
Stunningly lovely day here. Almost tempted to remove t shirt, but Sainsbury's are due to deliver, so made to with a bottle of Abbot ale whilst watering the agapanthus pots.(there do seem to quite a lot of them )
For those who can, enjoy this lovely weather.
Hope Wonky isn't overdoing things. Life's a marathon, not a sprint.
