Evening all. Another day at the pit face over then straight onto moving more chippings.

I think 7.30pm is time enough to call it a day as I was up at 5.35am.

    Devon.

I'm back, together with eight plants, two fish boxes scavenged off the beach in harlech. We had some lovely ice cream in llanberis, and fish and chips in barmouth.

    The sun shone all day.imageimage

Welcome back Fidgetimage glad you had a good time, and came back with swag. In my yoof I abseiled, rock climbed and gorge walked on the Barmouth slabsimage

Littlest chicklet has finally finished her 17 examsimage.  To celebrate, she went for a job interview on the way home - she got it, so will now be working every Sunday in.....wait for it.....the local GCimage.  Which means I will have to make a trip there at least once a week.  This could be expensiveimage.  Chicklet still has one more exam next Tues, and then we can finally all relax.  Thanks so much for all your good wishes, crossed fingers, and support over the last six weeks - means a lotimage

    17 exams?

Good grief, thats awful. Is she going to be a brain surgeon?

I got two Rodgersias, three Roscoeas, a Cautleya, a hardy ginger, and a Stylophorum diphyllum that i saw flowering in the woodland bit.

Now I just have to find a home for them.

One of them was a deep crate, suitable for moving lots of big plant pots around. the other is the type that fishermen use to sort fish into for the fish auctions. I left the odd big rubber gloves, also a very suspicious sealed plastic packet of a grass like substance, which had washed up.  I love a good beach comb.image
