    Morning all.

I'm sure it will be fine DD. When one plant has peaked another comes out. So much has come out since my Open Day I'm wondering if it was too soon. Lots of big red poppies now and the Sweet Williams and hardy geraniums are all coming out.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Good morning forkers

havent been in for a while and had a bit of catching up to do, how busy you all are

Lesley I didn't know about your mum, best wishesimage

DD how you find the energy to do what you do amazes me. The garden looks gorgeous and I am sure it still will when Open Day comes along  Good luck

been all hands on deck here over the last week. 8 trees planted , all veg and plants in, weeding almost under control. Just have pond weed to remove, then we are off!

never usually go on holiday at this time of year as garden takes precedence but OH says we need it!  imageWill try my hardest to read something apart from gardening!

take care and please send some of your sunshine north for my returnimage

Morning. Sunny with more forecast for the day image .  I had thought we'd be going on a 'trip' today but son just wants to go to the local park minibeasting .

Must give some priority to front garden and tidying up today - still got weeds to clear from the drive, blossom to sweep up, pots to place in just the right location, tools to put away, oh and buckets and bags full of garden stuff to take to the tipimage

    Morning all, image ouch!

Shush! Don't tell anyone but we actually have a rare sighting here in Suffolk!

Its round, and bright and up in the sky, can't remember the name of it for the life of me.... image

Gardengirl, yeah as usual, ya mums right! Wombles make good use of the things that they find, things that the everyday folks leave behind.... dove will be singing by now! image breaking a crowbar?! Impressive, think you may get turned down for arm wrestling!

Thanks for the concern Lesley! image determined to turn project pallet into an actual THING with a name and purpose today, fingers crossed!

Good luck with shedlet Dove! Sure OH didn't tinker with the rota?!image

Was snipping through wire with great vigour when daylight hours ran out cuz I couldn't see to saw and hammer!

I haven't actually told you what I'm making as I thought if it turns into something else I won't have to fess up! image

Making summat out of nowt Wonky?  That makes you an honorary Yorkshire woman as well as a Womble.  image

Lovely photos, DD.  I'm sure that on your open day it will be just as pretty - as Lizzie says, something will be following on, for sure.

Lesley, so glad your mum is feeling better!

Hope the Shedlet lives up to expectations, Dove.  image

Off out to run errands now - hopefully will get into the garden this afternoon.  image

    Morning all.

Sunny here, although have not yet ventured out, so don't know whether warm or not.

    Have a good day.

Hi everyone from sunny cornwall, just seeing what's going on.  Verdun has kept true to his word so far.  Grandchildren were paddling in the sea yesterday collecting shells.  Today we are off to Padstow and Port Isaac

Just had to order another kilo of live mealworms - does the Chancellor have any idea how much it costs to feed a family of robins ?!  He'll have to put the pension up!!!

Oooh Yvie, enjoy Padstow - we had a lovely lunch at Rick Stein's café there (you don't have to book for the café, whereas the restaurant is booked up weeks ahead) image
