Seriously KEF? If you haven't got a shot gun do let me know. I'm sure between the vehicles and exhibits at work we can make an offence weapon of sorts...

...I mean an over sized extremely high pressure garden sprinkler and any injury was purely unintentional Mr. Policeman. image

I've had a lovely meeting with an education team, given me the confidence to know that I'm not going in the wrong direction. Then my regulation service skirt and my non regulation overly long legs (or at least low knees making the dress look very not regulation), nail polish and generally very much unlike me smart appearance pottered off to a garage where we were able to convince a rather large discount on planned works for my museum project vehicle. Hurrah! I am still two thousand pounds missing from my budget but inch by inch I am clawing every penny to make this work.

I haven't retained much from previous pages so will have to read back laterimage.

Went to GC today and found a replacement bird bath bowl at last.  It was quite a shock to walk in and see all the Christmas stuff outimage.  A lovely piece of carrot cake cheered me up though.  Then to B&Q (oldies day) and bought one of those weed pullers Snoodle mentioned which I have been playing with this afternoon.

His lordship is away so I'm sat here with honey on toast with a glass of water (because I can't see the point of boiling the kettle for a cup of tea for one person) having just fed the dog freshly prepared beef mince mixed with lambs heart and turkey meat...

Not that he's spoilt or anything. image

Morning all. 9.30am here. Have not long woken up and laying in bed with the IPad reading your yesterday's posts. My heads spinning with all the chat.  Are you serious! Stolen lead from garage roof!  OMG. How did that happen? I'm dumbfounded, what can be done about it?  And someone's car being stolen. Sounds like you need to threaten transportation again - but not to here this time please. We like it as it is.

Looks as though we are sharing similar weather patterns at the moment (between season changeability) , but nice to have warmer days.

Clever to get the grateful cat between knees and popping pill down. Hope Bushman saw the Queen. I notice she managed to beat Queen Victoria's record yesterday. good on her.image

I seem to spend more time going back and correcting the spell checker amendments than typing the original sentences.image

Best wishes to all who have bad backs, eyes, knees and anything else and hope they are recovering.  image

3.15pm and don't know what's wrong with me today. Dragged myself out of bed about 10, wandered around the garden and did some watering, etc. came back inside and was unbearably cold. Rugged up with gloves, jackets, blanket over legs and flopped on the lounge. Hubby put a program on TV that he had recorded in the wee hours and towards the end, I fell asleep and slept for about an hour. Have only just had a bit of bread and cheese and now flopping again.what a waste of a day!

The interesting thing is the program he recorded, did any of you see it?  Apple Special Event. It was in California this morning. They talked about the range of new Apple products.  It was really innovative, amazing what they have improved/progressed.

I'm not really into all this electronic stuff, but because of the iPad, have become a bit better. the new iPad Pro that they demonstrated seemed almost magical, to me.  Anyway, I wondered if any of you saw the program.image

Garden talk was good - all about the poisonous plants (ie nearly all of themimage) that are being used in medicine these days - taxus is the obvious one, but there are many more.  The speaker was from the Royal College of Physicians, and really knew his stuff.

hope what is left of your roof survived the night KEF image.  Horrid thing to happenimage
