Mmm topbird agree with your comment. Although i probably wouldn't be quite so polite.

Pleased to see that very nasty posting was taken down very quickly. Fast work mods - well done image

The above comment that Edd mentioned has now been deleted. It wasn't a kind comment, just in case anyone wonders. I was a bit shocked, not a regular poster on this thread.

Glad your TV is mended, Dove.

Have had a horsey afternoon, grooming and putting a rug on Archie. Hannah is like a woolly bear, and overweight, so she hasn't got a rug. She sweats in them. Not sure what to do with her now she's retired, she's a food thief and a greedy piggy. Have also mended some electric fences in the winter paddock where they will be going in December.

  • image  BL, I had an Exmoor who was the greediest pony alive - I heard that after I sold him to a riding school ('cos he needed more work than we could give him) he walked into an allotment with a child on his back and started eating the cabbages! image

Ponies are always greedy little b*****s. Starvation rations needed for them or they get laminitic. We always had to keep them on bare ground during spring and summer. The competition ones were trickier than the riding school ones - especially if they were part Welsh A. They live on fresh air image

Good work Gertie. Bet you're really pleased with the result.  image

We're always amazed at work when people seem incapable of even sewing on a button. Everyone - of either sex - should be able to do it.

Glad you're ok Bushman. I was concerned you were unwell again. Nice to have you back image

Not bad here Dove. Not as wet as they said it would be today, about 5 or 6 degrees,  and we didn't have the wind we had yesterday. No jokes now...image

Think tomorrow's to be ok before more rain, wind and sleet comes along on Thursday  image

Are you getting more frost tonight?

Hi all.  Been driving and busy with the boat today.  Glad to hear people's good news.

Damp all day in Southampton.  Traffic awful image

I can sew on a button and have been know to shorten trousers and make the occasional repair, but I'm sure your efforts - everyone's ! -  are far more presentable.
