KEF you're missing out with a jacket on its glorious out here! I've been pottering all morning its so fresh and invigorating. Now I'm drinking hot squish and enjoying a rest before wondering how unsafe I'd be up a ladder to prune the apple tree. Still I'm already full of painkillers if I fall...
Also... you ate bear? As in proper Winnie the pooh? Wow!! can't wait to hear about where you ended up to be doing that! Not Rotherham that's for sure!!
Just been out for a garden inspection. Two surprises - one nice (first daphne flower opened - the beginning of delicious scent on our driveway which should last thhe next three months) one not so nice ( my ceonothus has been knocked over by the winds and i hadn't noticed. Straightened it up, staked it and firmed back round the roots - now keeping fingers crossed).
Now have some taxi duties, but OH has just asked me to pop into a GC on the way home to get a tree tie - so will have a nosy round whilst i am there. Am on a mission to find a Disanthus having hear MrBeardshaw raving on GQT ....
Oh Clari please don't go up a ladder, you're a bit accident prone this week, and that was just putting your socks on. Take care, go indoors and have a cuppa.
I'm going to do a few bits then watch something on tv with a cuppa and a -------------
Sorry dove......getting excited about Star Child? Redeemed myself?
You're forgiven Verdun ((hugs)) - was thinking about it just yesterday evening while looking through catalogues and thinking I couldn't see anything to match it
Chicky - don't forget to take that bank card with you
Clari - my OH has the ladder out - I'll send him to do your pruning - don't you go up a ladder!!!
Lily, when I've washed the bird feeders I'll join you on the sofa - any good rubbish telly on?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Probably wise to abandon the ladder Clarington. You don't want to fall off your perch.
I've put another pruning mountain through the shredder.
OH is clearing old growth from the pond banks and today found a very dead fox. Must have been there months and we never got a whiff of it. It's all over now

Just watched Hostages, from last night channel 4 9 o'clock. I enjoyed it, got to wait now for next sat.
Can I smell cake?
