    Morning, stunning one here

KEF first night we had new rescue dog he brought the place down at 3am. OH gave hima right talking too telling him he was with us now and to be good.  Went out next morning to find all our lead stripped off woodshed and yes, they used our Best wheelbarrow to remove it! they didn't come back to us but methodically stripped the village!

Fidget, ohhhhhh getting close! Try to enjoy?!

Lesley hope surgeon do good job, keep the wood for yourself!

Pat do hope you are not coming down with another bug?

Dove, when do you go? Safe journey and happy hols when it comes

I have been kept busy with family so not caught up with anyone. There is a glorious chaos here! off to a dinasuar park today!

    have a good dayimage

  • Morning all!

Sorry you didn't get much sleep Kef, I'm not surprised! Its amazing what folks will pinch! Someone years ago, stole our cast iron handrail from our front steps!...it was cemented into the steps too! And I no longer keep pots in the front garden due to them lasting 24 hours! A paintball gun with glow in the dark paint could be fun....image

Fidget, it will All come good on the day! image

Good luck with the tree surgeons Lesley! image

Have a great day one and all!

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • A few of you snuck in whilst I was typing! Morning Jo! I'd love the willow, but I need a bigger garden! If you hear of one of those going.......coffee? image

Lily, yes me too, thanks. It makes you nervous, because you don't know what's going on. Anyway, having a cuppa now, so will just have to see.

I'm amazed about the lead stealing! When we were living in Melbourne, someone stole copper from the underground electric  train wires!  There was a hullabaloo on the news about it. Imagine how dangerous that was.image

KEF the theft is bad enough but it's the loss of peace of mind that is the worst thing.  It's despicableimage.

Jo, Wonky and LilyP we are just getting a quote today from someone who has been recommended to look at the trees, a crab apple and a silver birch, which are about 40 years old.  They are getting too high and dense and threatening a low telephone wire. I don't have a wood burner LilyP, but if you want to collect it ...........image.  Have a great time at the Dino Park.  Hope you don't get too scaredimage
