Love the geese pic LirI - nearly as much as I like the one of Newman and Redfordimage

Nice to hear of all the new plants and gardening that's been going on with you all.  Can't wait to see what's popped up in my garden (apart from weeds) while I've been away but will be a few days yet.

Mum was allowed out of hospital today so is very happy to be home.  I'm happy not to have to do the journey to Aintree again, especially this weekend when the Three Queens event has been happening in Liverpool.  Nothing to do with Lily Savage - the cruise linersimage. The traffic has been a nightmare.

    Have a good evening everyoneimage.

Chicky, they are autumn sown Sweet Peas, been in a cold frame all winter before planting out.

Dahlia "Bishop of Landaff" isn't hardy here and now they don't sell it any more in the GC so I've lost my three. But the "Bishop's Children" that I sowed from seed are hardy, so is Dahlia "Park Princess", "Arabian Nights" and "Pooh".

I've been mending electric fences, putting horses in a new paddock (happy bunnies) and planting out pots and troughs.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
