Morning all. Grey, cold and mizzly again.

Struggling to motivate myself at the moment, bad back and bad weather are keeping me inside.

My problems seem so minor compared with some others on here, I wish you better days.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Aww Pdoc - you're having an adrenilin crash after your adventure in the Land of the Midnight Sun, and now you're winding down for autumn, the time of mists, mellow fruitfulness and sitting on the sofa in front of rubbish telly with something more-ish to eat.  image  As long as you enjoy it, it's fine.  Don't feel guilty about it image

I'm sure there's something you've been putting off ........ sorting out all those photos on the laptop ... if you've done yours you could always do mine for me image

I agree and reinforce all the good wishes and offers of support - but can't go back to indivual ones or I'll lose this.  Yes, I like HRH. Good name for miss fussy boots. She has decided the meal I laid out for her when we got homre was not  up to scratch.  This is the usual game of waiting to see who weakens first.  Me to the bin or her eating it.  Hmm we'll just have to see who wins this tug of wills.image

  • Joe dont need to jump at 6'3" i'm easyish to spot handy for seeing whats going on. The young uns loved bein on my shoulders just had to watch if we were indoors. meeting some boys from my old unit today as well, always interesting catching up with them. Hope everyone has a good day.

  • Good morning all,

Having an enforced coffee break - suddenly realised I had been rushing around all morning and last evening with the enrolment of Athletics club and the doctors and then back to the club with the certificate etc. so gave myself a little talking to and sat myself down with a coffee and a pain au raisin - there is no-one here, why am I still rushing?? image

Anyway, had a good read back, Clari so sorry to hear about your troubles, sometimes friends do manage to upset you without realising how hurtful it can be, perhaps he will have a re-think about his selfishness. Hopefully the criminal who stole your friend's car will have a re-think too, although unfortunately probably unlikely. image

Yvie, glad the op went well for your OH and hope this morning all is well at check up, and your eye is starting to get better too.

WW, I do hope that cat appreciates all your inconvenience and effort, probably not though, he would probably appreciate a bit of left over fish more. image

Punkdoc, I presume Dove's offer has motivated you to find something far more exciting to do. image

And Bushman - you are the man who always manages to sit in the seat in front of me at the theatre or the cinema - I am only 5 foot1 and a half and always end up coming out with a stiff neck after straining to see between shoulders. imageimage

Right, coffee break over, hanging baskets and pots need watering, they are looking rather sad and perhaps I should have rushed to look water them after all.image

Garden Club meeting this afternoon. sometiimes I wonder if I would just be better getting on with the actual gardening rather than talking about it at a meeting, but they do serve nice cakes. imageimage

    Best wishes to all. image

    Morning all.

Grey and pretty miserable and none too warm out but we're planning a visit to RHS Rosemoor this afternoon.

Hugs for you Clari and others with troubles have a better day to-day.

One of the nice things about having Hubby home is I get tea in bed every morning.

    Enjoy Wednesday one and all.

  • Right folks off to see the queen. Hope you all have a day where either life improves for you or you enjoy more than yesterday. Look after yourselves and those you love. Catch up with you all tomorrow. image
