We'l I'm off to bed. It's been a long day. Besides, we've just watched the final of Aust XFactor. My ears are still ringing. The contestants have been good, but the production has been terrible. Excessively noisy, more adverts than are justified, etc, etc. I might give serious thought to watching next year's series.

We're off to Canberra tomorrow for the day, so I probably won't be around here much. Night all.

Night Pat - afternoon everyone else image

Sorry to hear your news Panda and hope that Mrs Doc can find a job she likes much more nearer to home. Not enjoying your work is horrible when it is such a huge part of your life so it probably will turn out to be for the best. Doesn't make it any easier in the short term though.

Not much else to say really. Had to go to bed at abt 10.30 last night (very zzzy image)so I've given the puds another couple of hours steaming this morning. I think they're probably dead (sorry - done) now.

Have just spent the last couple of hours doing pensions & tax figures as we're off to a pensions seminar organised through OH's union.

Still a couple of years to go but trying to make sure things will be in place for us when we need them. So many pension & tax changes in recent years - we both fall right in the middle of all the transitions and my head is absolutely buzzing with figures right now. Think we know what we're talking about but might need to consider parting with some money to let an 'expert' look things over.

Would rather spend that money on plants....

So sorry so many of our little gang are having hard times.

This is Kizzy my new puppy. She is helping fill the huge hole in my heart after losing my German Shepherd recently.

  • She's a labradoodle, Dove, but mostly labrador.

  • Thought there might be a fair bit of choccy lab there somewhere - which size labradoodle will she be?  They seem to come in the same range of sizes as the poodles don't they?
