Morning all. As far as I'm aware my friends car is still awol and typing this I've realised just how filthy my nails are having spent yesterday cleaning horse tack for a new display at the museum... best get scrubbing before a very important meeting!
Have a lovely day everyone.
Dove: how about I just invite you and Wonky instead?
Clari, only just got to your post...lost you on the other page!
So sorry to hear about your friends car! Its so thoughtless! As for your fussy friend!.....Dove is right!...let me at him! I'm very practiced at dealing with fussy eaters! I'm sure he didn't intend to upset you, probably just instinctively putting his appetite before your feelings! big hugs for you! You celebrate your socks off!
Bushman, meant to thank you for the explanation etc of Selkirk. That's just what I was hoping for. Have fun seeing the Queen. It doesn't look as though we'll get to see the bike ride up there. They're too occupied at this time with the Tour of Spain on our TV. Wave anyway!
I suppose lots of people claim connection to Robert the Bruce, but Hubby's mother always claimed they had a connection to him. I don't think Hubby has found it yet in his genealogical searches, so was probably rubbish! There WAS a reference on my line to a Scotsman who got free passage to Tasmania (for rape, - shock horror!). Couldn't possibly be true on my line, could it? He probably ended up being a very respectable citizen.
