It's all over now Wonky - it closed with the Foo Fighters last night - we couldn't really hear it well enough to enjoy it.  They should either turn it up or down - half way is no good at all.image

Norwith will be empty today - they've all put yellow and green football shirts on and got on the train to Wembley - hope there's some people left to to to the Food Fair at the farm shop ...

Wow foo fighters are amazing! And Dave Groll is just a bit tasty!!  May have to check them out on iPlayer! I wouldn't go in town today Dove it will be full of hungover teens all on the phones to their parents  asking them to wire them money after spending train money on booze! image

Morning all - and afternoon to Panda, given you have done half a day's work alreadyimage

We have blue sky and sun - happy surprise given the black clouds forecast.

went "hidden garden" visiting with littlest sis yesterday - some stunning gardens .....and there was cakeimage.  My wish list has expanded again to include clematis Broughton Bride....just gorgeousimage

Today I am doing a stint in the box office (for day 2 of the event).  Have a couple more gardens to visit aswell.  Think I will get my bike out for the first time this year, and rediscover my love of pedal powerimage.

then I must do some planting ....paeony bowl of beauty, poppy pattys plum and a few jacobs ladders seem to have miraculously appeared on my doorstep ....and they didn't even have sticky labelsimage

    Morning all.

I picked my first bunch of sweet peas yesterday and the kitchen is full of their scent.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

I'd forgotten how tiring it is having house guests and how much wine seems to evaporate from the bottles. We can't possibly have drunk it all image

Off for our fave drive later to-day: Bude, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel then lovely pub at the end.

Hope you have a lovely trip Panda, and you get some sleep tonight Dove.

    Devon.

Oooh, have a lovely drive Hosta - OH and I stayed close to Boscastle for our first Cornish holiday together image Lovely area.  We'll be just a bit further down the coast later in the year image

Wonky - lots of girlish giggling and shrieking just up the hill around 1am - think they'd staggered home.

OH and our guest went to Rosemoor yesterday while I was at work.

Sticky labels there too: Phylostachys Spectabilis and a rather magnificent sarrecenia .
