Claringdon, chin up and 'illegitimus non carborundum'! I am lucky to have no allergies and sympathise with those that do. Friends who act like twats are best treated as such!
hope tommrow is a better day for those that have not had a good day today and everybody and pets ( really part of the family , well was in my case ) are recovering
good night all , early start , going to Boston tommrow
Clari - Steve has hit the nail on the head .....couldn't have put it better myself
Yvie - fingers crossed that both eyes (ie yours and OH's) make speedy and full recoveries, and that Mum gets good care and the right sort of attention this time.
pleased to hear Flatters has a treatment plan even if putting it into practice might require some resourceful thinking
Hi everyone. I've spent ages reading last nights posts, so don't know where to start. Feel very sorry for all those with medical, hospital and veterinary appointments, so best wishes to all. I'm having a slow start and must make a move soon. I've got the first load of washing on and after breakfast and usual morning ritual, need to take miss poodle in for her 6 weekly grooming session. I don't envy anyone having to give pills to cats - been there and tried that. My vet now gives me liquid and syringe for the odd occasion my poodle needs antibiotics, thank goodness.
looks like a cool sunny day out there. Minus one was predicted, but I haven't checked it yet. Hope all have. A good/better day today.
Well, we've been shampooed, nails trimmed, teeth brushed, hair cut and blow dried and perfumed, so we are now suitable to share the lounge with Mum. Mum is pooped and having a cup of tea after 2 hours of grocery shopping. Woolworths had plants hiding amongst the vegetables, so of course I had to give them the once over. Came out with a new Primula (purple), a small punnet of Dahlias, and one Grosse Lisse tomato in a 4" pot. Probably kidding myself with the tomato, but it's small enough to fit in the mini greenhouse.
A mild morning here 12.3C overnight - is the start of the warmer spell?
Fingers crossed Yvie, for OH's eye, your eye and your Mum. Sounds like she has a good GP
GWRS - Boston Mass. or Boston Lincs?
Clari - Steve has hit the nail on the head!!! Tell the 'selfish child' to grow up - it doesn't matter if he doesn't like the food,it's your party not his, he doesn't have to eat anything if he doesn't like it, all he has to do is be there. If you like I'll speak to him ......... or even better, Wonky will do it .......... she's much fiercer than me
Wonky ((hugs)) neither you nor hub will come to any harm letting the Chip Shop cook your dinner occasionally and it supports local business Hope you're still sound asleep and have a good day ahead of you
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
just been out picking raspberries for my porridge. Got a talk at the Garden Club to go to tonight .....poisonous plants and their uses .....might come home with a black pointed hat and a broomstick (already have some of the other necessary accoutrements)
Jo - littlest chicklet does get a lift to the station every day, but it is on my way to work, so no bother.

Oooh, Good evening Pat
I must say she's looking very spruce - do we know her name or have I just forgotten it?

Hi Dove. I've not given her name because of passwords, etc to different accounts. I just call her my little white princess on line.
