Rained off again so set about clearing the shed. Found the back! Was like narnia! Fur coats and all! But Flatface tells me that this will make an excellent cats shedbed! image going to need a few trips to the dump but made a dent in the clearing for sure!image

Think they've turned the sound up! We've been able to hear it this afternoon - even indoors with the radio (GQT) on, but it's not so loud that it's spoiling our afternoon. Hope all the people in the park have got their festival kagouls - it's wet here now.

I think we've been listening to Raury (Wiki tells me: Raury (Raury Alexander Tullis) is an American singer-songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. He is known for his eclectic sound mixing funk, soul, hip hop and folk and has been described as "tough to pin down" by Pitchfork)

Now apparently it's a gentleman called Lethal Bizzle.  I quite like what I've heard but it's not quite James Taylor image

    Good afternoon folks!  image

A very productive day yesterday at son-&-DIL's in York.  Lovely weather, so DIL sawed down a lot of ancient, half-dead shrubs and conifers ready for digging out, son re-set steps and re-laid patio edging, and I spent all day weeding.  image

Aren't all sheds Tardises, Dove?  image

Been planting up pots and troughs. Cup of tea time.

have been planting out all the annuals from seed the last few rainy, cool weeks. inspecting them this sunny morning(they are flourishing) was reminded how much easier life is with no slugs or snails.

    no, i'm not gloating.

    well, maybe a little bit.

wintersong, one summer years ago i would smoke a little weed in the evening and then go out with a flashlight and hand pick all the little buggers. by the end of summer had gotten them all and the dryness means they don't come back.imageimageimage
