If you'd kept your shirt on,Verdun, when scything that meadow we wouldn't have had so many visitors image

I booked my place ages ago Verdun so don't you dare close that bridge until I'm well and truly over it.

Warm and close here for most of the day but the sun has come out a little now.  Have been busy today sorting out the irrigation system so pots etc stay watered while I am away.  Have also cut the hedge and trimmed the Pittosporum and the Euonymus into shape. Just need to mow lawns tomorrow.

Mind you the house is like a tip and I still have washing to doimageso I guess I'm not quite ready yet.

Meant to mention, I think I had another visit from brer fox last night.  My irises were damaged, an allium broken off and a number of smaller plants dug up.  I wish he'd find a new place to visit.

Two blue but slightly different hydrangeas and a lupin. I grew up with lupins that originally came from railway cuttings where my dad grew up, but over the years they completely died off so kinda bought for h

Lupins are very pot bound do not sure whether to pot up (and possibly spilt) or wait.

Hydrangea been on my wish list. Now I have them not sure what to do with them. Ideally want to keep them blue.

Gotta love market bargain sticky labels though

No Eurovision here! image OH is underground house DJ, Saturday is what he calls GC! You and I know this as garden center obviously but in his world its gents club! Where his crusty DJ friends come over get on the decks, drink beer, watch football, blokey stuff! I do appreciate both kind of GC, tho the garden centre is quieter! image
