OL - yes, we are in the midst of exams too. Good luck to your big boy with his. Spent last night testing her on chemistry, which is today's delight. As for exams myself, i absolutely dreaded them. Used to actually make me sick. Its funny, nothing else in life has ever had quite the same effect on me.....so glad they are in my past (although, 30 years on, i still get the odd nightmare where I'm sitting in an exam room realising I have revised the wrong subject)
Now I'm off to give the GH a quick check before launching into the rest of my day
Feel for all the poor people doing exams, so stressful for them. Funnily enough, even though no exams for me or mine for some time yet to come I had a dream about them last night, got all D's and didn't understand why, more of a nightmare really, glad to have woken up!
Must go guests have arrived for breakfast, good day all.

Morning all. Beautiful day here as Lesley has said. Pity I have to work but that's life -can't sit around drinking coffee all day like all you retired people....
Wonky - I just saw your thread re your soil. Remember that Azaleas don't have to be in acid soil - they just don't like alkaline. All my gardens have had neutral soil - and rhodies, azaleas, pieris, camellias etc grow like weeds here. If anyone round you has these in their garden - chances are you'll be fine
I sometimes move plants a few inches too Verd. As Miss Piggy used to say 'Pretentious? Moi?'
Sad about the ducklings Hosta. Nature's hard to live with sometimes.
I'd agree with you about testing chicky. I used to say to oldest fairylet that it seems ridiculous that you go into an exam having to remember so much, but when you're out in the real world, you can just look up info in a book if you don't know the answer!
Bets get a move on. See you all later. Have a great day
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Exams are so omnipresent it seems.
From school to college/ Uni to driving tests to job interviews. So much pressure.
Sometimes I'm glad to be ancient.
You're right Hosta ....you'd think by now they would have found a better way of finding out what people know
Good morning all - lowest temp last night 5.1C - runner beans are fine and the tomatoes were indoors so all is well.
Will visit Ma this morning so the garden will have to manage without me again.

Good morning
No frost here, quite mild 10C and 9C in GH overnight.
Good luck to all doing exams, I also still have nightmares about turning over the paper and not knowing one answer
Good morning KEF
Good luck to all those being examined - stressful time - take deep breaths and think positive thoughts

Morning all,
My pretentious backside is staying right where it is today as some mad rhino driving a tractor parked on top of me last night
Good luck to all those in need
