Tree loppers AND shears Rb - just how bad is your hair?imageimage.  Hope you're feeling a bit better today.  I can hardly imagine the pain on your head.

Afternoon all, and again, I find myself being overwhelmed by warm wishes.

You're a lovely bunch. I really do appreciate it.

As to " what happens next?" I'm in the lap of the gods so to speak.

Seeing the ortho assessment team on the 14th, so hopefully they're have words of wisdom to impart.

DD I feel your pain. x

    Devon.
  • Thanks Hosta and everyone else who has had kind words to say, I definitely 2nd you in the comment 'You're a lovely bunch'. Just trying to coach myself into listening to my head instead of my heart - I tolerated years of being bullied by her "for my own good" and really should just be happy I haven't got to deal with all that anymore. image

On a more positive note all the i*****g is done and there is not a single item of dirty laundry anywhere in the house - I have suggested to OH we now walk around naked all week - he was not impressed. image

  • DD ((hugs))  is it still warm enough for that over there?

My OH has got his thermals on - but then, he needs more meat on his bones .... I do try to fatten him up, I really do, but he's built like a whippet image

Anyway, take no notice of horrid miserable people - what use are they?  What we need in our lives are people who make us feel good image

I'll second that Dove. It's why I'm single - and staying that way  image

DD - I've spent most of my life saying nothing, putting up with 'stuff'  and being submissive. People get used to you being a certain way, and when you've finally had enough and stand up for yourself, they don't know how to react. It has to be done though. I'm much happier now because I feel more assertive, and instead of pleasing everyone else, I please myself.  It took me a long time. Good for you that you've done it, but I know how hard the aftermath can be to deal with, and how long it can take. You'll get there image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hurrah!!!  The car is fixed - it was the 'coil spring' and it's been replaced and for a very reasonable charge.  They've checked the car over for me as we're driving down to Cornwall in a couple of weeks and they can't find anything to worry about image

I'll pick it up on Thursday morning 'cos I've got a day out in London tomorrow image

DD ((hugs))  a lovely lad like Charlie doesn't need the sort of rellies who would ignore his birthday 'cos of a spat with his mum - he'll grow up into a lovely young man without them image

Verdun - that path is going to be beautiful image

    Rb ((hugs))

Went out and bought a couple of tops to wear with jeans. My parcel from M&S arrived at last - at the local Post Office so I collected it. The dress, jeans and pullover all fit perfectly.image

RB, I did ride quite a lot. Bought the dark grey mare when OH 1 died to give me a project, she was half wild. She got quite good at dressage but very nervy ridden out, retired, early 20s. The bay is my daughter's 1st horse, he's 27, also retired. The beige one is daughter of dark grey mare, also my daughter's. I was riding the white one who I've lent, but now I'm 27 the body doesn't work as well as it did and all my friends have stopped riding, I got nervous going out on my own.
