    Morning all.

I have nothing worth saying, so I will just wish you all a good day.

How can you lie there and think of England

    Morning all. Grey and drizzling.

Glad you are safely home Lily Pilly, lovely photo.

Farmer has just been and cleaned out the winter field shelter with his tractor attachment. Horses used it  and hay was in it when we were away in September and Archie hurt his leg so had to be near the house. Housesitter said his duties didn't stretch to mucking out! My shoulder has been playing up so it is a relief to have it done. Horses will be going in that paddock soon for the winter.

    Good morning everyone.

Bad news about the fires in Australia, and r.i.p. Jonah Lomu.

The wind was awful here last night, but dropped after midnight and it is calm now. Whether the collected leaves are still in the same place is another matter.

Morning all, weather here has been awful.  We keep our future son in law's motor cycle in our garden under a bike barn and it has blown the whole think over including the bike.  Can't lift it as its a big beast so will have to wait until FSIL returns from a business trip to Switzerland.

Off to have talons sorted this morning and then a shopping trip with friend.

Sad to hear about the bush fires Pat. We aren't getting much news here at the moment apart from the Paris terrorist stories.

Get that lamp switched on P'doc you seem a bit down.

Morning all.  Just (it's after 11 hereimage)

Went back to bed soon after 6, Hosta, but then OH up at 7.30; I woke up again half an hour ago.  Noise of the wind, coupled with things rattling around on the patio...  Dunno what the storm was like at home but it was a real hooley here.

Hope all are OK, esp Pat (are you still up?)

    Must get something useful done!

Rehab appt was great yesterday - after the final op he gets 2 exercise sessions a week for 6 weeks where they monitor his heart .....so he can work his way back to full strength under supervision, so to speak ...plus lots of talks on diet, stress management and lifestyle stuff.
