Nora says it will speed things up if the threads don't get so long. I have slow Broadband here in France and I haven't noticed any difference with long or short threads. But I wish they would sort out the other tech problems like avatars, being able to look at earlier pages and PMs first.
Will be packing and loading the car today. England tomorrow, but long drive through France first. Hope rain and winds will stay away.

Changing the size of the threads hasn't made any difference to me either.
Hoping to sort out PMs, hopefully avatars will come back soon too.
