Evening all, Back from nanna duty, weather is awful out there, it's blowing a gale.  Had to have the plumber out today as the boiler decided not to produce any hot water, all sorted now, had to have a cold shower yesterday  brrrrrrr.

Pat the advent calender is lovely, it's great to have such things to pass on.

Chicky glad that OH's op has been moved forward, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't have any cancellations.

Feeling a bit better today, not so miserable.  It helps when your two year old grandaughter looks at you with a straight face and says "Nanny are you happy today, I am cos you're here"

I know someone else asked me something, but I can't remember what it was, I'll have to look back.

I was meant to be on Granny duty today, but daughter's meeting was cancelled. Glad you are feeling better YvieStevie. Grandchildren can be so sweet sometimes.

  • It's very breezy here. I've popped several bricks round the base of the bird table to keep it upright!
