My S. gigantea still looks great. It's right outside the kitchen window and catches the afternoon sun. I don't see the foliage, that's below windowsill level

I think you're OK with the spelling Verdun, just wondering where mine is. I rather lost control of it all this year and can't remember its locationimage. Maybe if it's nice tomorrow I'll have a proper look round.

My Stipa has been where it is for at least 15 years and has never been split, it would be a big job now but maybe I'll have a go next spring

Back from Carol Service. Abbey looked very pretty, choir sang beautifully. But quite a lot of mince pies over, perhaps they were on diets. Around 160 came, but some years it's nearer 200, so hard to know how many mince pies you need. We've run out before!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Soz, no time to catch up on posts. Tree up and decorated, help from Andrea Bocelli but decided I couldn't see through image was my Dad's favorite, so Dean Martin stepped in and helped with most of it. image

Gotta dash meal to be eaten, have a good night all.
