Old Speckled Hen is famous for its carb content .... Suggest you add a couple more to tonights menu. You'll need something to sip whilst watching all those shoes.
Thanks all for watching my back this morning - the prospect of Bushman certainly kept the natives at bay. Conversation was had, and I didn't even raise my voice. Not enough to undo damage done, but maybe enough to stop it happening again. Some people have the emotional intelligence of a teaspoon.
lovely horses Lizzie - so nice to have them as friends even if they are no longer ridden ....very intelligent creatures with personalities all of their own.
Sorry to hear about DD's family nastiness .....their loss I'm afraid. i'm sure Charlie won't miss a tetchy uncle and aunt when he has a lovely family all of his own.
and hope ortho has some solutions for you soon Hosta - at least with a diagnosis they have a chance of coming up with a plan.
glad Runny is slowly getting back to normal ......shingles - horrible - never want that again
Gotta go ....we have a family evening watching Nemo planned. Love Dory
Good night all, just enjoyed watching the GBBO with a glass of red - need to keep an eye on my carbs too, running club starts again tomorrow - eek.
Glad you got stuff sorted Chicky.
Thanks for all the support too today, you are all so kind and understanding. Fg & Hosta you really should never feel alone when you have us lot to keep entertained, love the banter you two seem to manage so effortlessly. Can't decide now whether to have my next holiday in Scotland or Cornwall, seriously feel the need to meet you both in the flesh as it were.
Dove I want your OHs metabolism and my OH needs it even more so.
Btw, anyone seen/heard from Wintersong or Bekkie, both just seemed to disappear?

Think W'song had quite a lot of early shifts at the bakery so that's probably why she hasn't been about. Don't know about Bekkie though.
We talk a good game - it's sometimes the best way DD. Lots of us understand how it can be with relations and partners and awkward situations. Support is always freely given here - I've been on the receiving end too - and I know how tremendous it can be
You'll need lots of extra clothes if you come on holiday up here...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Runnybeak, the ga lleries of justice have groups going round at half hour intervals. We just turned up and paid and went in 10 min utes later.
Flight via Ryanair at stansted went ok. Two nasty accidents on opposite carriageway on journey down, in the rain. One just after leicester, northbound, and one where A14 joins M11 very nasty, looked like driver would have to be cut out.
Aarhus seems to be interesting. The festival is on. They have the biggest rabbits I've ever seen.Photos to follow. Restaurants seem very expensive though. We haven't got a car. We got the bus from the airport and then walked to the hotel. Tomorrow himself is working, and I get to explore on my own.
I do too,but himself has just ironed shirts for tomorrow. Got to make a good impression.I'm just a laptop carrier. He needs two for the job and he can't take both himself as hand baggage.

glad to-day went well for you Chicky.
Well done Chicky
I wouldn't rely too much on Old Speckled Hen for carb content - OH can put away prodigious amounts, and he's built like a particularly skinny whippet
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

That will suit me fine FG, but don't expect them to be i****d.
Would have to include one of your fabulous walks too.

I favour the crumpled look myself DD

Aw , bless you DD. I'm always up to meet new folk.
Technically I'm actually in Devon, but only a couple of miles from the border.
