would it be just too gay of me to sit up until midnight watching a documentary about

    Christian Louboutin ???????

I'll certainly be watching India: nature's wonderland.

This is the plus side of OH working away. I watch what I want and go to bed / stay up, when I want.

Hosta - I don't think you're being gay enough. Kinky Boots, Louboutin shoes....imageimage

I do the same - watch what I want, when I want. Eat what I like, go to bed when I please (admittedly quite early image) and all with the added bonus of no partner to come back and annoy me! image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • It's virtually compulsory viewing Hosta - and if you need an excuse you can say you're watching it on my behalf - I'm a girl, I ought to watch that sort of thing, but I have the wrong shaped feet to wear things like that so they're no more than 'sculpture' to me and I need an early night anyway image

And as for our trip to Cornwall, now you're in the know image  I'll expect you to start crocheting lots of bunting to decorate the road to the west country for us image

GWRS - it's just a day trip, meeting up with some friends image

Bizzie - lovely seeing your horses image

Fairygirl, erm, when you put it like that image

I'd not want him to NEVER come back.

TBH I'm not really very good "home alone" I live on salad and , this week, chicken he cooked at the weekend.

He's not home until next Tuesday, but then here ( he says, helping me in the garden) until the following Sunday.

I have huge respect for those who can cope without someone else. I'm just rubbish at it.

I'm fairly self sufficient Hosta so perfectly happy on my own. I miss the company sometimes, but I don't miss the high price I had to pay for it. Nuff said about that!  My two girls live with me and will do so for a while so I'm not completely alone. I think it's really  nice that you like being part of a couple  image

..but - you need to eat better when you're on your own. I'll make Dove send you that smacky bum thing if you don't  image

  • I've coped on my own - OH was at Chelsea for a year doing his Masters and I was living and working here (in a rather scuzzy street - I've never dialled 999 so many times in my life!!!)

Every six weeks we'd meet up for a weekend - either he'd get the train back here or I'd get the National Express to London.  As I said, I coped ........ but it wasn't very nice.  It was then I got into the habit of having Radio 4/World Service on all night.

Being with OH is bdooly amazing image  but I'd rather be on my own than with the wrong person.  That's not good at all image
