Clematis Pamela Jackman is startingimage but very poorimage. new last year and I thought I was right in not pruning until after this years flowers have finished? Have I done it wrong?

white camellia has taken off since putting in the ground at the weekendimage

Decided the in-border seat has to move ( will go nicely infrontodf of the trampoline), leaving a dead area with plenty of sun and room for more more more - will in fact open up to a huge corner border. image

Phormium removal must go but no longer a priority as too much else to do

extending 'feather bed' can also wait to give the grasses one more chance to impress me over the summer ( happy verdun!).

So let's get to it... oh washing needs to go out, then an appointment, then maybe I can get those pesky dandelions out!!!!

    Have a good day all.....

Lowest of the low aren't they Verdun? Thank goodness my sons communication is improving so he can tell me if anything happens to him, physically though he'd give em a run for their money

How very sad, hope they get the ********* that did this to the poor man.

How very cruel and cowardly of them all. Somehow seems worse that a female could hurt someone like this.

Hope they get what they deserve.

People often are aware of body language but seldom understand when facial expressions don't match the feelings. Many people with learning difficulties used to undergo minor surgery without anaesthetic because they couldn't express their pain, and we're therfore thought not to feel any! Even now it's important to give pain relief even when the person shows no outward sign of discomfort following injury, colds and flu etc... So often I myself have thought how well my son copes with a cold, only to get it later and realise how bad a headache came with it. Heart goes out to the person Verdun.

Was going to talk about the garden, but it seems almost frivolous in view of Verdun's story. These are sad times we are living in.

How can you lie there and think of England
