I can understand that doc. I think Bidean's still my favourite of the ones I've done, but I loved An Caisteal/Beinn a' Chroin in Crianlarich as well as The 'Bookil' of course. Really too many to choose from.
I could do with a recliner today - the sun is shining
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I thought it must be raining in the UK today, there are so many posts since the one I wrote this morning!
OH suddenly decided at the spur of the moment to take me to the Chinese restaurant for lunch. I think I ate too much , was planning on weeding but now feel like a snooze.
Chicky, I can't do the quoting lark at all. Used to work, hasn't now for several months.
Fairygirl, I'm surprised they haven't all been eaten by now.
Lily P I have at least twice as much weight to lose as you, I have no will power. Flumpy looks so slim!
I don't think all of Carol Kline is dirty, just her fingernails. I like her enthusiasm. I'm afraid the way Monty talks lulls me to sleep, but I quite like him.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thanks for the advice on jam, it is 50/50 so hopefully will be fine, I ended up searching different recipes and in the end forgot who said what but sure Delia said only a month and I thought that a bit odd, that's why I moved on. Tbh the French do like their jam and I don't see the 4lb I made lasting too long anyway. Have 8 guests tonight, just 4 Monday/Tuesday and then back to a full house for the rest of the week. I will be glad when we get to September and they all go home.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
We just used to call them pancakes Fairy
Haven't had them for ages . . . am now wondering if I've got the ingredients. . . I'm sure I have
Can't remember who mentioned potato scones but my dad makes them with left over potatoes - they are yummy when they are warm
