Hi, I've been planting garlic, that I grew in cells 36 of them so I can firm it in so the delightful birdies don't keep pulling it up. Begonia tubers now drying in the shed.
It's been a lovely day nearly had my shorts on
Runny congrats to granddaughter , and what time is snap tomorrow
Steve hope the foot heals soon, my mum in law used to put something on OH foot that sounded a bit like " I've a doc a dill dock" that she used to get from chemist, hopefully someone might know what the heck it was I haven't dreamed it I promise.
Lesley those sweets look good enough to eat
Chicky I'm so happy that your OH is home and okay and wish you all a nice peaceful evening x
Hope the journey is uneventful Dove and put your vest on too cold for your top down
DD I wonder if she's gone in a skirt and is all Romantica
I'm waiting for the kiddies from next door (who have outgrown me not cool to talk to oldies next door) to come around dressed up for some sweets Wonder what response will be if I give them a couple of Chinese lanterns from my plants a some windfall apples Suppose I'd best put cash in their buckets. I haven't bought sweets this year because piggy KEF will eat them
It's been a lovely sunny day here in W Flanders and we've (finally) been out foir a walk. My toe seems to be well on the mend now and we strolled round the buildimg site that's a new housing estate round the corner.
Sadly I can't get the cup final on TV or radio here
Of all the things I had planned for the day: standing on the manhole cover over the septic tank and having it give way was not on the list.
Mercifully it wasn't full but my boots ended up in " it"
Landed very badly on my backside / thigh. Unbelievably painful.
I'm sure the most impressive bruise will follow, however , I'll spare you that image.
Runny, you know I'm not one for sport, but I did seem to manage an hour of Men's Gymnastics last night. No idea who won though, but it was entertaining .
You and me both Panda ( - love the Zhandra Rhodes look ) I'm debating whether or not I can run an electric current through the railings on the front steps....
Naughty fairy
My boot are pristine jo - cleaned and waxed and ready for action tomorrow
I've done quite a bit outside - would have been more if I hadn't attended to a sedum in a pot. Went to take the spent flower stems off and it all came away in my hand out of the pot completely. Just thought it had got waterlogged and died, so I spread the compost in a border to find it full of b****y vine weevil larvae... Spent ages gathering it all up and laying it out on paving for the birds to eat.
It was beautiful earlier - really warm in the sun. I'd hoped to fix a new Suffolk gate latch on my side gate but the faffing with weevils took a while. Too chilly out there now for messing about with tools and such, but the birds are enjoying scoffing the grub
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I used to put green felt tip in my fringe in the '70's blame Elton John
OK until it rained on the way home
Fairy vine critters
Wonder if they toast well with chilli on
Oh Hosta
You aren't very fragrant love - I can smell you from here....
Hope you won't be sore tomorrow - that's usually the worst. Glad I don't have your boots to clean....

Good old Elton - did you have his 'ZOOM' specs as well KEF? I loved those
Dennis (the robin) was getting stuck into the weevils - heh heh
