Thanks for the  advice Liri, and I'd have a good mind to complain about the sticky labels except that I  love all the plants that got stuck to you  image

ooh Dove - haven't checked mine.

Planted (well OH did) Clematis Crystal Fountain into jewel border to go up a pre-existing obelisk - did have to move obelisk to do it though. Also planted a climbing fuchsia, it has been in a large pot by obelisk for ages and roots were in the soil so should be ok.

Then I tried to catch up with feeding shrubs and roses, did about half image Hope to finish tomorrow,

Would a Gaura manage in more dappled light than full sun, full sun most of day?

I put things in special places around the house like papers or my favourite scissors and then forget but never with gardening

Even my clematis cuttings have all been identified sans labels image

    YAY! Beks......re seedsimage

Had a wander round garden, far too chilly to do anything today brrrrr. A couple of hostas are just trying to poke through, foxgloves leaves are growing nicely but clematis all look rather sorry for themselves. image

I  asked my mother today how her group 2 clematis arch was doing and she said she couldn't see anything yet so I asked her if there was any leaves at all and she said no, nothing so I asked what had she done to care for the plant over winter and she said it died so she cut off all the brown tangly stems to tidy it up image

I wish they would let me supervise their garden but I keep offering and they keep declining
