    Just read back a little

DD well done, you should be very proud of what youve done image

Verdun, so nice of you to help that man, if only more were like you image

RB, have you recovered? Sounds like you were having a funny turnimage

I grow white dicentra in shade, seems to be very hit and miss, some plants do well, some not so much, got one almost in flower in a semi shaded spot image

SGL, my foxglove seeds are in a tray down the garden, they might not germinate for a while, i seem to get the majority germinating in autumn image

    Morning all.

Verdun I only have 3 canna varieties, but I feel more might follow.

Those grown from seed are Warszewiczii ( not the faintest notion how it's pronounced) and I have Phasion, which looks great with dark red dahlias , with the odd orange thrown in, and the most beautiful coral pink which was given to me without a name. I  wish I knew what it was because it's a stunner , grows to about 2m tall and everyone comments upon it.

    Good morningimage

I would love to while away an hour or two at DD's seating areaimage.

It's lovely, bright morning here too Dove but, like bekkie, we have had a touch of frost.  Off for a walk then it's time to get a bit of hwk doneimage.  Never mind, there will be time to play with plants laterimage

Shame about having to work while the rest of the family are off chicky but with a bit of luck they will do all the chores and you won't have to lift a finger when you get homeimage

  • Good morning all,

Thank you very much for the lovely comments about my garden pics. Have you all to thank too for so much encouragement, advice and inspiration. image

Off to a friend today who has some more plants for me. image

Weather lovely, going to be 26 degrees today the forecast says. Bit hot for too much work I think, might have to test my bench again. image

Good day to you all. image

I braved some of my chilies out of the heated bench last night. Slightly nervous about what I'll find this morning. image

Good morning, slight frost here 5C and down to 1C in GH overnight image Luckily I had heard forecast and put fleece over some plants.

Runny yes my spuds are through I had topped them up so they are okay after the frost.

DD your garden is looking great.

Dicentra alba, mine likes semi shade and moisture it grows as well as the ordinary pink/white one and the new to me last year Valentine is happy there.

Hosta I hope your chillies are okay mine are still in the conservatory.

    Well done Verdun image
