DOVE - I have 2 very similar recliners (His & Hers). They are indeed very comfortable - they can indeed allow one to fall asleep on a warm summer's day in the dappled shade of a large tree .... image  That is a very good price image ......

In case anyone is concerned that my OH will feel deprived, he won't - he doesn't do 'reclining' - every spare moment is spent in the studio - thankfully the 'glass wall' facing the garden slides right back so when I'm in the garden we can still communicate.   I'll be able to request a cooling glass of Campari and soda from the comfort of my recliner ......... image

Dove, you've got me thinking about the summer to come!  I dread the hot weather arriving not just for my comfort, but because it usually brings bushfires and hubby will be once again on call for that!  As I've got older, I can't take the 30plus days any more, so my sympathies to you now.

    Hi Gang.

Shame about not having looked in , as I was at a bit of a loose end yesterday and nearly left OH working and pop to Wisley, He persuaded me it'd be too much walking.

Would've been lovely to meet you lot.

    Another time perhaps.

Wilko have reduced seeds to 10p a pack. Westland Gro sure down from £3.99 a pack and best before 2017 , or even 2018.

    Just bought 52 packets. image

Had a wonderful time at No1 daughter's last night after her shock at my arrival, and ditto for No2 daughter and , probably, even more so for her new boyfriend.

Had a lovely meal with them all.

OH at work, but due home in about an hour.

    Home tomorrow lunchtime hopefully.

    Devon.

Pat, I usually start to melt at anything over 22C - there's no way I could live where you do

Weather has completely changed, only 17° and pouring. Garden looks happy, but not the petunias! But 28° is forecast for Tuesday.

That's done it - the purple sprouting broccoli is all safely under netting - that'll keep Peabrain and his woodpigeon pals away from them - it's also seriously peeing off the Cabbage Whites who know there's some brassicas there but they can't get at them.  image

I carefully inspected every leaf first, applied an organic spray for the whitefly that were flying about and removed every little Cabbage White egg - they should be ok now - fingers crossed.
