Eringium I think lily. For years I've been after the same as ndn but always ended up looking different and not surviving, so I'll keep my fingers crossed this goes ok but bit worried its late.
Hello folks - been busy today, onions pickled and loads of lemon curd made.
Matty, take care of yourself and try not to stress about your eyes - Nut and I have both had similar and it's got better all on it's own - bit of a pain at this time of year when there's so much to do. Big ((hugs)) from here
Going to settle on the sofa and watch Masterchef now - have a good evening folks
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Have been away for a couple of days, staying with step-daughter in Essex, visited the Bluewater shopping centre for the first time, interesting, but once was enough, felt like a goldfish in a very large bowl, Glad to be back home.
All presents now bought and wrapped, cards written and posted, together with parcels, tree and decorations up,large glass of white in hand .
Mrs G and sgl I probably wouldnt move an Eryngium now. Although they are fully hardy they love sun and well drained soil so best moved in spring. They also have quite long tap roots so you need to dig down deep to get all the root out.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
