Didn't have time for washing. Enjoyed the sun during the war on weeds. They should have realised they have a eviction notice now, suspect they'll be back but certainly would have annoyed them. Lots to burn now

    Hello

Oooooh what a lovely day - temp 20*

Seem to have been busy all day

Done some stuff - prepared a raised bed for veg, gave cut flower raised bed a rake, half did another one with chicken poo as the other veg bed.

Just seemed to be busy without doing anything strenuous - did yet another GH shuffle.

Sorry to hear some are still unwell, hope you are all well soon

Oh yes a question-raised bed for annual flowers(cutting garden), last year it had beans and peas in it, should I give it a dose of chicken pooh pellets,or sprinkle with Growmore(I have loads and I know the arguments against it but need to use it) or just leave it and feed the plants as growing?

I think annuals don't need that rich a soil but I just don't know image

Lovely day, even though not feeling too well.

Sat in the garden and planned, opened summerhouse for first time this year.

I think this really might be Spring.

Been really sunny all day today.

But have felt too poorly to do any gardening. Can't stop sneezing and coughingimage So have just done a bit a sorting indoors. Then sat on the sofa most of the afternoon.

Have you got the sneezes too Pdoc.

Georgeous day here, still lovely, sunny and warm.  Been in the garden all day.  Lawns cut and planting spot ready for clematis delivery tomorrow.  Sorted out a few things in the greenhouse and moved some of the plants outside to harden off.  Looking at the forecast it's going to be nice for the rest of the week.

Did some weeking (fatal for back) so I might be sitting in the garden tomorrow rather than working in it.

Sorry to hear we have some more poorly ones ((hugs)) get well soon.  Well, not 20C here, but 19.1C so I won't grumble image

I've not been outside much, I've been working on Pa's eulogy - but OH hung 2 loads of washing out and got it in (folded and dry) so we've really appreciated the sunshine image

    evening all.

Glorious day but not much gardening.

Went and bought new telly then came home and between myself and OH got the seed spuds in ground: during which our old next door neighbour from Hants turned up .

Had a lovely rest of day on terrace, having lunch , a couple of beers, a bit of sun then we all gave up and had siesta. How very decadent.

    Must get more done tomorrow.

Sunshine invites decadance Hosta image  Enjoy it whilst its here.  One of the things about our climate is you learn to grab the good days.....just imagine how bored we'd get with constant sunshineimage.......although the chance to  put those boredom levels to the test might be nice too ....

hope you managed to find the right words Dove.  Thinking of you.

got home in time for a cuppa in the garden whilst watching the sun go down.  we seem to have been adopted by 3 geese and a very fat pheasant - so with them all crying out it was less than peaceful....but a nice sort of noiseimage

    Evening forkers image

Matty, i wouldnt think you would need to add chicken poo, isnt thst high in nitrogen? Beans and peas are supposed to fix nitrogen in the soil, not totally sure but i think nitrogen is supposed to be for green leafy growth and potash for flowers? My memory aint what it used to be, im sure one of the others will put me right image

Sounds like youve all had good garden days image hope those under the weather feel better soon x
